Comet Lovejoy from Coolamon, NSW - 28 December

What a difference five days make. Same location as the first still image I posted from the 23rd, but the comet is so much fainter.

If the current forecast continues, then I might get the chance to setup one last all night time lapse across the two cameras before I head back to Sydney tomorrow morning.

This image is shot with a Canon 7D with 16-35mm @ 16mm, f/2.8, ISO 5000, 15 sec and has been straightened and cropped.

Great shot, Greg

It's a pity the comet's not a little brighter at this stage.
