Elephant Rock star trails.
I'm venturing into doing a few different forms of Astrophotography and this star trails image is part of the beginning of that...
I took this back in October from the popular Elephant Rocks / Greens Pool area just out of Denmark, WA.
Taken with a Sony A7s and Sigma 20mm f1.4 Art lens for a few hundred 30 sec exposures and combined in PS6.

A very well done star trail. Star trails are not my favourite type of nightscape but you have done a very good one here.
They also help you identify where the SCP is if you manually setup your mount and want a good starting point.

Thankyou Greg! Yeah I think star trails are a little different, maybe a little more "arty" than standard astrophotos... and yes, a great way to help with polar alignment for widefield imaging.
