Hi all, I had a chance to assemble a quick time lapse of comet lovejoy from 9 frames I took the morning of last December 29 with my Tec140 from Coonabarabran. Each frame is a 2 mins luminance tracked on the comet fast proper motion. I still have to understand how to proper make time lapses (I used PS for this) so I have uploaded the movie on a temporary folder for the moment, possibly will move it to my main website later on .

Very cool sequence Marco. You're right it doesn't look like it's got any nucleus or maybe it's very small. How come the tail spans for such a long area though. Could it be that the stuff that got sling shot around the sun is just debris being blown away fast?
