Rosette in HOO

Rosette Neb in HOO. Cooked up my green channel with a bit of Ha

Only 4hrs of data in total. The seeing wasnt the best as the nebula/cluster only gets up to around 38 degrees max above my northern horizon

Thanks Marc. Yes, there is plenty of star formation areas going on in there. Rather interesting in narrow band.

The rosette always comes up better in NB. It's quite faint in RGB. It also has a lot of interesting bits at long FL. Been to Dunedin a couple of times. Surprised you get clear skies down there. Here the heat is a problem in summer so imaging orion or monoceros is becoming increasingly difficult.

Nice one Dave, especially considering the altitude. I don't even start imaging a target until it hits 45.
