May New Moon is on the 26th.

SPSP is on 25th to 28th May (sold out I hear)

My best window of opportunity is anytime from 24th May to 29th May. But I would not be looking to go for that Full duration. 3 or 4 days would probably do for me.
This covers a weekend so that may be helpful to those who have trouble getting time off work.
On the other hand, Bretti does tend to attract a few more campers over the weekends, as you would expect. So at least one or two weekdays might be a good idea for those who can.

This is just my initial thoughts. Happy to work in with others commitments.
and weather.

Hope for fine DRY weather. No rain. No dew. No Snow. Gentle breezes. and Good Company.

With the New Moon on friday the 26th, it would seem that weekend is ideal for the workers. Maybe a few days prior for the long stayers. It is useful to have a few site holders there before the weekend to stake our claim on our spot.

24th to the 28th sounds good to me. I will put it in the Diary, and see how the weather goes this time.

Oh, Crud.

28th is the day Sue gets back from China, so I'll be in Sydney that evening.

Looks like I will be christening the new deck at home...

Yeah, but I can't get a pass until she gets back. Too many things to be looking after, unfortunately.

I have emailed my work suppliers, and have advised of intended leave dates this month from 24th to 29th.
I guess its official for me then. All we need is the weather to co-operate with us.
3 weeks and counting down....

Tentative

I'm up for it provided weather is dry, but can only make 2 nights at best, Friday and Saturday.

I certainly hope the weather plays the game after the disaster on the last planned trip, where NSW copped a drenching.

I had the occasion to venture up to Forster to-day.

to the best of my knowledge, the turn-off to Bretti is still where it should be

Looks like I now have a secondary Chest infection after catching my Sons Cold.
This better disappear before next week or I will not be a happy chappy.

Get well Geoff.
I checked Accuweather's extended forecast for the later part of next week and it is still showing sunny days and cold (4C) nights (which is a good indicator of clear night skys), for the period of Thursday - Sunday. Of course it's still too far away to be very reliable but the New Moon period does seem to be falling into the clear gap periods between the winter Lows, which seems to be a return to 'normal' as far as this time of year is concerned.

I need to find some rear brake pads for the Jeep, but still hopeful..
