Uluru, Star trails and the SCP

While I was up at Uluru one session I wanted to do was Uluru with star trails. I started with a 60 sec shot 800 iso to get a starting point then 6 x 5 min and 5 x 10 min subs. It was still quite warm at night so a few hot pixels are about.
It was my first attempt at doing anything like this.
I had to load to facebook to bring the size down quite a lot.

Thanks for looking

Very good. A great ambition and a good shot. I tried the same thing , however, with the moon , it was like daylight so I am glad you made it work.

Karl,
A successful attempt by all accounts, good mix of exposures looks great and the setting grand.
