Focuser control

Sky watcher focuser control.
I have a skywatcher focuser ($100 model) and a control box that has one lead to the focuser and a usb to go to the lappy via the powered usb hub.
I thought control would be in sharpcap but I am not so sure.
The focuser in not connected as yet but I dont seem to have anyway of moving the focuser as such.
I presume I need a driver that displays a panel on screen that I can move the focuser in and out.
What should I get or am I missing something in sharpcap or ascom generally?
I used the focuser assist in sharp cap by manually adjusting the focuser.
If the focuser is moving via that part of the program I doubt if you would know as movement would be very small.
I imagine if the focuser was fitted now and linked to the focuser on the scope it would not do anything.
I dont know.
But I expect I need a driver and a control panel on screen.

Hi Ken.
I copied your reply to the post I deleted here.

Kens reply
"I use the SW accufocus motors on all my refractors.
The shoestring FCUsb adaptor and the free FocusPal software works well for me.
I haven’t needed or tried an ASCOM alternative".
Thanks for that.
I presume I can run that without problems with ascom runing?
Anyways I will go read up on it.

Its all working but I dont know if I can manage anything tonight.
The trip and only a couple of hours sleep last night and a big day in Lismore has me really tired although I may do a wide field if I can rev up in an hour or so.
