Last of my Lovejoy - 28 December 2011

Hello all,
Here are my last session images of comet Lovejoy - 28 December 2011 - I have been really please to have seen and image this comet - albeit with modest equipment.
I had four early rises over the past four days (2 were clear) and I am now officially knackered!
It was great to also capture a couple of satellites in two of the images.
The last pic was my last image of the session and of Lovejoy - looking forward to the next comet!
Images with Nikon D3100 and various settings.
Thanks for looking!

Nice pics I like the tree, satellites, and the blue colours of the last.

Very nice. I don't know how you managed 4 days in a row with Christmas. It was a great comet and looks fantastic within your images.

Matt, what times did you take these and what were your settings. I have been up early every morning for over a week now, I've resorted to a Nanna nap in the afternoon!

Nice shots Matt

Satellites give it a "racy" touch

Hello
I imaged from 2.30 to 4.30am (ish) Brisbane time.
I used 30 second exposures, ISO 1600 (this is a touch high but my camera has a maximum of 30 sec exposures), @F 4.3.
I have not resorted to afternoon naps, I come home and get another 3 hours sleep.
No early start tomorrow - having a break!
