ESET Alert

I found tonight I could not open any sites with IE, chrome or firefox. Damn near tore my hair out for 3 hrs trying to work why eset would not let me open anything in a browser. Kept getting messages about Trojans.. It was eset's latest definition download that caused the issues..

Thanks Pete.
It was getting very hard to navigate anything with all the false positives.
Couldn't even get around IIS to do normal moderating tasks.

Hi Andrew, it was a nightmare, but they were on to it pretty quick. I even upgraded my fixmestick and did a run on the computer. It found nothing which really made me wonder what was going on. I looked at my eset logs and they showed what had been happening, it was only when I went to the Eset site to work out how to send a log to them that the Alert showed on the site. I got to their site via my Ipad so that was not an issue.
All running normally now thank God.

I'm still so happy with Eset, it's saved me so many times.
I suspected something funny with Eset so closed everything down and ran an update then a System Check.
Found nothing but as you say it was all good with a signature update.
