Captured the Tweezers Galaxy last night before the full moon passed the meridian at its highest
A really unusual but beautiful galaxy, picked up a few other dim galaxies in the field
Very dim object at magnitude 9.3 but the 8” f5 resolved it well
Another warm night so DSLR was running around 30 deg C
60 x 2 minute dithered guided subs
20 x darks
ISO 800
Canon 600D
Stacked in DSS
Processed in Startools ( Binned at 35% ) need to spend more time on processing, this image was rushed as I’m busy today
Finished early at around 10.30pm
Cheers
That is a great image even if captured on a dark night in below zero conditions so I am surprised that you managed such a fine result.
I was out last night and I am thinking the Moon is not that bad and you have proved my assesment is reasonable.
Good work...clearly the 8 inch f5 is a great scope in the hands of someone dedicated to achieving worthy results.
