Hi Everyone,

I am mostly making this post to reach my 5 required for posting on classified. Wasn't sure what I can do to reach 5 so I thought I'd share my first AP photo taking a couple of months ago. Just started the hobby and purchased my first scope of a user on IIS. This is the Tarantula Nebula in the LMC. A very easy target for beginners and I'm stoked I got such a result from about 1.5 hours of integration.

Gear:

Williams Optics Megrez II - 80 mm FD, 555 FL
Orion focal reducer for short refractors
EQ5 pro
Olympus OMD EM5 mark II - I need a better camera....

Processed in pixinsight (still very much learning)

Welcome Dan.
You are doing very well for just starting out as you have a very good image there.
So it wont be long before you have your numbers..what are you going to sell?

You've done very well Dan; it's not that easy to get a good looking image of the Tarantula.
The nebula around Eta Carinae is a perfect beginners target and the Lagoon later in the night, once the moon fades a little - both big, colourful nebulae.
