Processor Tweaks

I know this probably should be in the Software section but it will be of interest to astrophotographers. So here goes...
In the current (August) edition of Australian Personal Computer on page 94 there is an interesting article about processor efficiency. Basically, it shows you how to allocate cores to programs. For example, you can ensure that your guiding software has access to one core only, it not having much to do, allowing your image handling software access to all cores. This is assuming you have a quad core machine.
Have a read and see what you think.
