New 12V 10A transformer!

Interesting night...
Setting up the dew shield and dew heaters on the C11....the AstroZap heater band fitted OK, but couldn't get the heater controller to work -bumma! (If anyone wants a "dead" 4 channel controller, let me know)
Ok, back to to box, found the "backup" controller - works!
But no power from the ol' 12V 5A transformer!!! What else can go wrong.
Checked the wiring and the plugs etc - definitely dead.
Ended up with the 12V 20Ah golf buggy battery to get things going.
At least that got me through a 40 min exposure of the H alpha emission in Eta Car.
Looking for a replacement 12V power adaptor and found this:

12V DC @ 10A with built-in cigar socket.

I use a few Powertech 12V 7.5amp power supplies from Jaycar to power mount , dew heaters Etc... they have cigarette plugs with led indicator light
Haven’t let me down in 4 years , very reliable
I’m sure Powertech do a 12V 10 amp unit
Cheers
Martin
