Talking Jen's first dab @ Partial Lunar Eclipse Pics

Hey guys i wasnt going to post my lunar pics on here as you are all proberly sick of looking at them all by now LOL
There is a lot of great ones to look at
But i thought bugger it im jumping on the Eclipse bandwagon too
Being my first go at this i was pretty excited at how they turned out

From start to finish in between clouds here they are

Taken with a Canon 500D through my 6 inch Newt
ISO-400
Exposure times vary from 1/4000sec to 1/1000sec (as i had no idea what i was really doing)
No cropping or editing (as i wouldn't know how to do that yet)
First pic taken @ 8:45pm last pic taken @ 12:30am

They look fantastic Jen.
I'm really enjoying looking at all the photos taken by everyone.
It just adds to the excitement of the event.
I asked this question on the other thread where you posted your first photo, but I'll repeat it here...Do you have a camera adapter or do you just hold the camera to the eyepiece?

Nice one Jen,

The mob of degenerates here will certainly point you in the right direction processing wise. With practice comes skill (or in the old days, a drawer full of dodgey photos and two on the mantlepiece).

PS The "degenerate thing" was a joke...

Wasn't it?

See, now this is the problem. I had to take my jacket off and was wearing a tee-shirt, jeans and thongs... but we had cloud here. Too warm to wear the jacket again until about 10:30.

The moisture probably dropped as snow somewhere before it got to you... Lucky, lucky, lucky you.

With a creative collage - I can see a Compendium 2010 contribution emerging!

Molly, unless Jen has changed things, her setup is in this thread:-
