East Coast

Hi all,

Traveled up to Byron Bay a few weeks ago for the inaugural Star Stuff- Festival of the Cosmos. A great event with an amazing speaker lineup. Took this panorama on the Friday night before the conference during blue hour near my accommodation for the weekend.

Lovely. There is nothing like the seaside and the Milky Way.

Looks like the the images were taken at Boulders Beach, just south of Lennox Head, beautiful, well thought out nightscape , well done.

It was indeed Jeff. Even though I have never been along this section of coast before, I had this location in mind weeks before I went up there as it looked nice and photogenic and a little bit quieter than surrounding beaches while still remaining easily accessible. Got to love google maps/satellite view for location scouting.

Have surfed my way up and down the east coast occasionally for nearly 50 years so I'm familiar with a lot of beaches, especially the ones that provide good waves.
