Nearby Galaxies

I came across a catalogue of nearby galaxies recently.

Updated nearby galaxy catalog.
April 2013
KARACHENTSEV I.D.; MAKAROV D.I.; KAISINA E.I.

Abstract: An all-sky catalog of 869 nearby galaxies having individual distance estimates within 11 Mpc (36 million light years).
http://cdsbib.u-strasbg.fr/cgi-bin/c...J....145..101K

Below is a sample of 41 galaxies with Blue mag less than 10.
Length and width are in arc-mins.
Distance in million light years.
The big bright ones have their real mag highlighted.
The surface brightness (SB) is highlighted for the best ones.
Those north of dec+50 are also highlighted.
