Maxim DL for autoguiding with CCDAP
I have taken the leap to trying to automate and have successfully got CCDAP working with the mount and cooperating with the Sky X Pro. Unfortunately CCDAP doesn't integrate PHD2 which is what I had been using for guiding. I realise that the PHD2 Broker tool will partially integrate PHD2 with CCDAP.
I would like to integrate guiding with CCDAP to minimise having to run guiding externally and I suspect integrating the two might not be as simple as it seems. I can see the benefits to integrating the two and letting them work together, as it will actually allow me to start dithering as well.
Any thoughts from those using CCDAP and Maxim DL to guide would be appreciated. I will be using both with an EQ8.
