M8 in SHO

Bit of a side project while getting other stuff. Total of 41 5min exposures with 10 x Ha, 14 x OIII and 17 x SII. As the individual subs framing was all over the shop, had to do a deeper crop than I wanted. Quick and dirty processing in Pixinsight.

Scope: Stellarvue SVR102T-IS with 0.8 reducer/flattener
Mount: Orion AZ/EQ G
Camera: ZWO ASI1600mm Pro
Guiding: ZWO ASI290mm Mini in ZWO OAG and PHD2
Filters: Astrodon 36mm Ha 5nm, OIII 3nm, SII 3nm

Yep, so glad I moved to them. Bit exxy even 2nd hand but the halos are all gone. Mind you I have had no issues with Astronomik ones either, or Baader LRGBC, just with a certain brand from a country to our north that really didn't work.

It does look like a lagoon with burnt orange sand around it. Nice, good detail!

I am really enjoying playing with colours in Pixinsight. Especially when the data coming out of the filters is so clean!!

Cheers
