Hi all,
I hope this is the right place for this thread? The family are heading up to Brisbane in September and we have decided to stop at Coonabarabran for the night, will drop by Siding Spring Observatory to visit but as they are busy doing real science they close at 4pm for visitors, no night time viewing
Anyway I have found a couple of private observatories (Milroy and Warrumbungle) that hold night viewing sessions and even allow you to attach you DLSR to snap a couple of photos! As we unfortunately don’t have time to visit each on the same night, I wonder if anyone has been to either of these observatories and could recommended one?
