Atik Infinity One Shot Colour

Hi,

Atik Infinity OSC for sale as I have too many cameras.

The camera is in new condition and can be used for live viewing using either the Atik software which can be downloaded from Atik or Sharpcap. It does have an ST4 guide port and is USB2.

Image is from a live stack of Eta Carinae under bright city lights, using a C6 in alt az mode and a .33 reducer (taken with ASI290mc) to show what is possible with live viewing. The Atik is better and comes with tailored software for live viewing.

I am asking $1100 including post or pick up in Glebe. This is a substantial drop from the new $1600 price at Bintel.

The below specs are from the Bintel site.

Minimum Exposure Length: 1/1000 s

Hi,
Was the picture taken with a ZWOASI290MC as indicated at the top of the sharpcap frame?

Oops

You are correct. Basically I have too many cameras and picked the wrong image. It doesn't take away from the quality of the Atik though which is a CCD and not CMOS.

Still the photo does show what is possible with real time video astronomy. Additionally the camera can be used for DSO's, guiding as well.

I will try and find an Atik image and failing that guess I will have to crank up the C6 again.

Cheers
Paul

Hi guys.
As luck would have it, I was looking at an image today that I took with my Infinity a while back. I posted a thread here http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/s...d.php?t=148620
and have attached the jpgs.
These were with my Stellarvue 102mm at f7 unguided and stacked on the fly by the Atik Infinity software. Not great shots but this camera would be an excellent thing for out reach!

Hope this helps

Hi Malcolm, thanks for that. I used to use mine with a C6 and reducer. Didn't really use it for outreach, it was just nice to be able to visit multiple targets in a night and get a bit more than you would from an eyepiece.

I'm a bi busy atm but will try and get out and get some photo's.

Cheers
Paul
