This is a brilliant planetary scope - the high F number means very little CA, and what there is can be cleaned up with a Baader Semi-APO filter or similar. 2.5" Motorised Moonlight focuser. Everything about this scope is heavy duty, but it works well on my EQ6. It delivers very sharp views and the aperture is good for DSO's as well.
Comes in the original packaging with rings and Losmandy dovetail. The entire body is CNC machined out of Magnesium Alloy, powder coated with Phantom black mat color and Nickel plated counter cell and rear plate. 3mm thick main tube assures maximum stability of the entire OTA with three custom designed and CNC machined baffles bolted directly to the main tube. This achieves an extremely sturdy and stable “beam like" construction to limit or completely eliminate shifting during fast temperature changes. Weight of the OTA including focuser is 13 kg. New price was USD $2325 including focus motor.
