first decent frost at home

This is the first decent frost at home for well over 12 years. I really hope that this is indicating a cold winter and hopefully a cold Queensland Astrofest? I know it gets colder in other places, but for me this was a crispy morning. Winter – I love it!! Bring on the cold dark nights……

Was 2.4° here on the Sunshine Coast close to the Maroochy River / Ocean a couple days ago. Coldest I have ever known it for 30 years!

Nights here have been cloudier and therefore warmer than last winter, with our lowest temperature being about 4 degrees. Usually we get some minus 2's.

Lewis, same here.

I had frost buildup on the car yesterday morning that took a few swipes of the wipers to budge loose. I didn't realise it got /that/ cold this far north! In either case, it's wonderful news, for imaging. And, for those going to Astrofest. I hope you have a great time!

Was apparently 3° this morning around 4am. The frost rating is ranked as MODERATE.

Tomorrow is rated to 8° with nil frost.

No, no climate change. No no no. Not possible
