fixing alt. bolts NEQ6

Money is too tight to shell out for replacement bolts, so I've tried a fix for the stock ones. I was going to drill out the brass pin, but it pushed out really easily so I could re-use them. I used a punch to flatten the pins a bit, and will put a drop of glue on each to stop them falling out.
Seems good at the moment, will see how it goes when all the gear is on and I do an alignment in the field.
Cheers
Stephen

Good on you

I'm in the process of making two centre columns for my Gitzo tripod, the Gitzo ones are £130 EACH!!!! Mine are £10

Will finish them today

I enjoy making. Until I joined this forum I never did, since taking advice from members HERE I have a set of taps and dies, why pay silly prices when you can make AND enjoy
