Some Xmas Day Sun

Have not done much astro in past few months so sunny afternoon tempted me outside to try some CaK imaging. Couple of images attached are all done with this setup.

Scope: SW ED80
Mount: Orion AZ/EQ G
Filter: Lunt CaK Module
Camera: ZWO ASI 290MM mono
Focuser: Moonlite CFL 2.5" with Hi Res Stepper motor
Capture: Firecapture
Processing Registax 6 and PS CC 2018

All are best 1000 frames from 2000 frame video.

Appears to be some activity in CaK that was not visible at all in Ha. Also did some Ha imaging to test out the new ASI EAF focus motor that arrived for Festivus, will try to process those and see what I got!

Thanks Ken
They are tiny little buggers. Almost impossible to see in Ha, but much easier in CaK. Hopefully a sign the cycle is starting to fire up!
