Solar Activity 27th Dec 2019

A few proms, the AR 2753 in Ha and CaK, then white light (need to look very closely at centre of image!)

Good to see some images of Sol, even though there is not a lot of activity, which is interesting in itself. Being deprived here of any worthwhile observing conditions because of the smoke haze for near on 2 months now, just as well there isn't much to see.
From what has been posted on Spaceweather. com in the last few weeks, there has been a few small spots of new cycle polarity, including AR2753. So it seems that a new cycle is trying to kick start, just have to be patient for a year or two.
