SEPTEMBER Photo Challenge - Entries (Post them here)

The topic this month is: "Spring Colours"

This thread is only for posting your entry along with any comments you'd like to make about your own photo.
If you would like to comment on other entries please use the Comments Thread .

Remember, one entry per person and the image must be your own work.
Normal forum rules and image size applies.

The image doesn't necessarily have to have been taken this month but we do encourage you to go out and enjoy the challenge. This month's topic almost demands a brand new snap (IMHO).

The winner of the public vote, which will be run at the end of the month, will get to choose next month's topic and have their photo added to our "Photo Challenge Hall of Fame" thread.

Good luck and good shooting.

Orchard Colours

Hi,
Here is my entry of a nectarine tree taken today at an orchard.
Its a 3 shot HDR image, processed using HDR Efex Pro 2. Original image was bracketed at +1, -1 stop, and a circular polarizer used as well.
Cheers.

Lily

Lilies are so prevalent here in Tas at the moment, and this one came with a surprise. The cabbage moth was lying in the pool of dew at the bottom of the flower, and I stood it up so it could dry out.

A bit of bright colour to counteract the gloomy days we've had lately!
