2nd Scope

Hi All,
Just wondering if something like a 10" Dob would compliment my Nexstar 6SE.
I want to be able to see deep space but not sure if adding a scope will add anything to what I already have.
Cheers
Brendan

Hi Brendan,

It would definitely add a lot to your current scope. A 10” F/5 not only yields nearly 4 times the light gathering power but will also produce much brighter images and give a wider field of view.

No it wont buy it would compliment the 6inch f10 SCT very very well , the Dob on those really good nights and deep sky and the SCT for average nights and a look at the moon and planets .

These 2 will be a good team touching all base's for all occasions .

Brian.

No worries , any time .
Just wait until you look at eta Carinae for the first time from a dark sky with your 24mm Panoptic !! it will make you quickly forget any doubt's about getting a 10 inch Dob .
