Video of upcoming Lunar eclipse

Hi all

Geoff from Sydney Observatory here. We would like to have a live video image of the upcoming December lunar eclipse. In the past we have used a SONY CCTV camera but that is now over 20 years old!

I've been tempted to get a GSTAR Colour camera and match it to a small refractor and then to a video projector.

So the question, has anyone used another camera that may be more suitable please? The GSTAR is quite a small chip but should be fine at focal lengths of up to 600mm.

Another alternative is to use a DSLR but that would require huge amounts of storage.

Any ideas would be most welcome.
regards
Geoff
