Good luck! Hope no one turns up in a boat and grabs your gear, looks like a really nice spot.

Result: The clouds won the match easily. Then the trees joined in and finished me off.

Andromeda kept disappearing, and PHD gave up altogether.

However, lessons learnt: Learn when to surrender...

That's very disappointing for you, Murphy was lurking in the bush somewhere nearby. It's happened to me many times. It's moon free in the early morning before sunrise for a few more days, so if the weather improves, have another go. I'm planning on adding more data to my shot from a few weeks ago tomorrow morning and I may face the same dilemma. Wish me luck!

I was able to go through the data I did collect.
The SNR was terrible and once again my camera switched to JPEG.
I contacted BYE & I had a bad setting (silly me).
Then cheated and used darks, flats and bias from another session...I know big sin. After all what was the point with such bad data.

Anyway PixInsight managed a result which for me was an achievement.

I can only get better:-)
