Solar Activity 31th May 2020

As the new AR moves on the disk (NE edge) it looks very promising!
Visible in H alpha and CaK, only white faculae area visible in White light. ( I saw some reports of a small spot being visible in white light, but I didn't see one)
Three or four small but interesting proms.
High cloud (after the 90Km winds of the past 24hr) stopped play.

Images to follow

(A bit of a back log at the moment......)

Didn't get a chance to take a look today but from what I've been reading the spot and activity have died away. So much for the promise of fireworks but you get what you get, activity goes up and goes down again, all part of the cycles.
At least the cloud has cleared away this afternoon and hopefully stays away for tomorrow.

Thanks Jeff.
Yes looks it it has “softened “
The weather is really an issue at the moment.
I’m in the process of test a new PST Stage 2 Mod based on a SW DB 102/1000 refractor. Only 3.5kg.
