I decided to tackle this comet from suburban Sydney with a DSLR. It was pretty tough going with the processing because of the light pollution and gradients. The image was captured using a Canon 6D and 127mm refractor on last Thursday 15 x 8minute subs ISO400. No obvious tail.

The second image was taken on Saturday night from the Blue Mountains and it was imaged and processed to try and see the extent of any tail. The result is a bit noisy but the faint tail measured almost 37 arc minutes. Taken with QHY16200 and RC10. Consists of 3 x 20 minute subs binned 3x3.
