NGC3628 - Hamburger Galaxy
Marvelolus galaxy to shot in Leo .... with long long tidal tail .... the shape remember an hamburger ...  . This is one of the galaxy of famous Leo Triplet.

Brilliant image, Leonardo. The stars are so tight and with wonderful colour in them and the galaxy. Really well done as usual and that AO system is paying dividends.

Everyone has used all my usual adjectives to describe a great image. Even at full res the detail is fantastic. I really like the blue star cluster and nebulae on the right hand side of the galaxy. The stars are superbly round and overall the colouring is very nice. Well done.

Is it the SXV-AO-LF Active Optics - SX Lodestar
that is improving your resolution?
Any comparison without AO?

galaxy. The SX-AO system work very fine for my setup ... i'm oversampled and the AO help me to micro-chasing the signal ... this is equal to increase raw details and SNR. Long exposure and postprocessing doing the difference in terms of deconvolution and wavelet filtering.

I take this opportunity to congratulate for the great pictures you posted all of the forum, bar none. Having problems with English and having little time, I limit my posts a lot. I would not write nonsense .

PS Alpal, i never use the GSO at F8 without AO ... (my mount is very precise but is to small and my site is windy) ... to have a good details
