Yes, it is re-signed, but I thought not by SyFy. I thought Amazon only picked it up

Yes, I was reading that Amazon Prime is the owner now. I have to wonder what has happened to all those wonderful sets constructed in Toronto for the ScFy production. Hopefully everything stays with the production, including the writers. I would hate to see it turn into a low budget green screen knock off of the original (Yes I know the space exteriors are all green screen, but you get the idea, it's the interiors, etc).

Also do we now have to subscribe to Amazon Prime, which is not as cheap as Netflix, to be able to see it.

Cas Anvar (Akex) talks about what is coming in season 4, here:

I didn't even know it was on the line to be cut. Great news! although, if Amazon owns it now, fat chance of it going on netflix

Altered Carbon is right up there with The Expanse imho - every bit as good.

I didn't even know Season 3 was done. Wow. Can't wait for s3 to appear on Netflix.

Oh that is good news!

Another one that has 3 seasons under its belt is Dark Matter. Not as good as The Expanse, but certainly watchable.

I'm pleasantly surprised at how different the show is to the book. The end result is the same but the journey is always different! Makes it enjoyable to seasoned readers as well!

Agreed, the last half of this season was excellent, now the wait for the next season and the hope that Amazon will keep with the same writing, cast and prop style.

from what i understand, its the same production, amazon just handles the distribution, there should be no change.

That's good news, thought they were trying to fire sale all the props initially so they must have been able to keep them.
