Canon FD to EOS adapter

Folks,
Do any of you have experience with using an adapter on you digital EOS to allow you to use Canon FD mount lenses? The adapters have a correction lens built in, and I'm wondering about the image quality.

Cheers,
Jason.

I assumed they are not good (enough) so I went straight for modification.

I had one for a while, I only took a few test shots, the results were quite acceptable, although I didn't try any astro shots.

The adapters have a correction lens and a diaphram control to allow manual only control of the aperture (no auto).

I sold mine on eBay and got more than I paid for it.
