Observing Report 31-05-2008

I have a new observing report uploaded for Saturday 31st May.

I took advantage of the long weekend and went South, looking for dark skies.

You can find this at;

Cheers.

Hi Sentinal,

again you have produced a great report! Btw, Some impressive scopes in those pics!

May I ask why you always use the same magnification? Many of these objects, esp the faint galaxies are best at 200x or more.

Did your scope get drizzled on? I hope not!!!!

Keep up the great work and clear skies to you! Unlike here

Because the regular cloud, swapping out eyepieces was not an option.

I tend to find the best option and stick with it. My observing sessions tend to be short because of my health.

You would be more impressed, when I one of the guys I observe with has a pair of 16 inch binos. One of the guys there has a 18" obsession but can't get it in his car, and the 16 inch scope in the photos is going to be replaced with a 20".

But as for me...just a 13.1" is great. I don't seem to have aperture envy.
