Solar CaK 26 Dec 2020

First solar image for a while.....
Only got some CaK before things went wrong! USB3 cable failure.....
AR 2795 and AR 2794 prominent on the disk, AR2795 shows bridge(s), a nice "iris" effect of the magnetic streaming into the larger AR 2794 and plenty of Intranetwork (IN) bright spots in the surrounding faculae.

Roll on 2021 - must be better.
Enjoy!

Well they look super indeed Ken. Thanks for posting. Hope that's not a new cable failure? It's been nearly a month since I last set up and this week is not looking better.

Thanks guys, appreciated.
Peter, The original USB3 extension cable which had given no problems for a year or so just failed.....hoping to get the replacement back in service soon.

Busy (!) working on a couple of spectroheliograph projects which have been hanging around for a while. Opens up a wealth of new wavelengths to the imaging capability.
