Field flattener with 120 refractor

Have the money to but the Skywatcher Black Diamond 120 ATO (rates well with users) and have allready in use the Hotech field flattener with my current Skywatcher 80ed.
Anyone using the Hotech with this F7.5 scope and most importantly are you achieving pin point stars to edge of frame?

Sick of CST's and RC scopes

Regards
Carl

I have seen reports that this unit works very well with the ED127 - not sure about the 120 but I imagine it would be a good match so long as the spacing is spot on.

But sick of SCTs and RCs oh dear! I am selling my ED 127 and hoping to go to a GSO RC 10" for the extra light grasp...am I doing the wrong thing?

Hi Carl,

I have started using the Hotech flattener with my ED120 recently. I have attached a link to a previous thread. If you go down that particular thread, I have attached some images of the "corners" as well as images with and without the flattener in place. The images were taken with my QHY8L.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,

Daniel
