Canberra internet?

Anyone else in Canberra with ZERO internet right now? It has been intermittent last 2 days, but NIL connection for last 6 hours.

Telstra ADSL, Canberra airport area. Using Optus mobile hotspot to write this

PS: their outages page and their online assistance is less useful than a bunch of politicians...

Telstra came back today via SMS:

"Hi from Telstra, ADSL fault is presently being caused by a network outage, we will monitor and advise when resolved"

That was 2pm. Now 20:26 and still nothing.

New update:

"Fault is part of a broader outage. Your fault is part of a network outage. Repairs are underway and we expect to have your broadband service working by the resolution date shown above"

That date being 18 January.

Who's up for a bet on the veracity of that guesstimate?
