FocusMaxV4 High HFD
Hi,
I am using FocusMax4 with a feathertouch focusser on a EDGE HD 9.25. While iit will focus for me, usually it fails a number of times before completing 1st light wizard.
Anyway, when I look at the log, the HFS's are very high, around 10 to 18 on a successful 1st light. So even after getting focus I can normally acheive a better focus just by adjusting with the hand controller.
I have attached a successful 1st light log.
Any suggestions as to why it is so high?
I have also attached a photo of Saturn in another post, where I adjusted after focus by a few hundred steps on the hand control.
