Affordable Tracking Mount for Astrophotography

Im not sure if this has been posted yet or not but I thought it would appeal to all those without a tracking mount to take some tracked astro pics with a lower budget in mind. Have a read and tell me what you think..... http://www.bahneman.com/liem/photos/...06092712472663 Great information site for anyone with a Canon DSLR too! Mike.B.

interesting product! Not being able to aim at the Zenith is quite a problem especially for those of us who can't wait a few hours
I wonder if the following quote might shed some light on this mysterious shortfall in performance.

Another problem is the proper alignment of the declination axis with Polaris. There's no provision in the small shaft for a site scope, and there are no markings

Still, it does seem like good investment.

I gotta laugh though. That's a fancy new name for an EQ1 on smaller legs!

Here is a pic of their 'MINI' EQ with battery drive, and my EQ1 with battery drive.

Hmmmm, I'll have to buy a heap of EQ1's, throw away the tripods and sell em as MINI EQ's
