OK that should read SharpCap.
Last night got to 7 dark frames at -20 in APT, then froze.
I am going to post in APT and ZWO as this is a bit frustrating.
I believe that SharpCap works- but haven't done a long series of frames yet, will try this weekend. It certainly is less buggy than APT in handling the camera.

I suggest you contact Sam at ZWO. He has offered in the past to Teamview into customers PCs to check camera setup, update drivers, load new USB controller software (stock Mircosoft USB comms controller can be problematic), etc. When i first got my 1600 and had stability problems in SGP, Sam fixed it with a Teamview session ( which you watch every step of the way obviously).
BTW when working with drivers, the order in which you do things is important.

I'd offer advice Graham but my time with it is limited due to clouds mainly but so far I prefer SharpCap. Seems a bit more intuitive for beginners like me anyway. I have done some short sequences and happy with them
The only thing I'd like to see is the ability to setup multifilter plans without having to learn the scripting language it uses at present.
