Now that is deep with no black sky only gas and stars. Usually these objects don't look much like their names but this is the exception.

Thanks a lot Pete I was considering augmenting the Dolphin by grabbing some higher res AG12 data on it but I can't fit it all in the frame of the little SXVR H694 FOV so would require a mozaic to do ity properly...so.. naah...looks good enough

Excellent work, absolutely love the colour.
I think though I prefer my dome slaved to the scope though, plus plate-solving and auto-focusing.
I noticed on some of the stars (blue ones mostly) there were halos - how much of a pain are they to deal with when you've got 5 nights of data (and I assume slightly different FOV each night?) ?

Thanks a lot Chris, I will have my own slave too one day...
No, the halos you mention are no problem to deal with at all

Whats super impressive isnt just the object itself but all that background nebulosity, the surface brightness of which is incredibly low. No subs rejected and captured in a manual way with only autoguiding the automated part making the capture all the more impressive.

Thanks a lot Scotty Well, I'm not as manual as you mate and my poor'ol wimpy, Da Vinci designed AP1600GTO, doesn't particularly struggle I'm a hybrid between the good'ol days of eyeball guiding a single 2hr exposures (that turned out to be out of perfect focus and more than slightly trailed) aaand modern autonomous, preprogramed mega scripts that do everything without any input at all... imaging
