eeek, too late. Was gonna drop in here quick comment about perhaps purchasing binos for his "quick fix of celestial viewing" instead of getting a rig.

Damn the weather eh down south east at the moment! Still, I have really enjoyed reading about the equatorial mount system and setting it up, and just getting the coordinates ideas straight in my head. Had a quick sqizz at the moon last night even though it was humid/cloudy: it blew me away....all those craters and stuff up close and so incredibly bright. Can't wait to get up bush today and praying for clear skies tonight/tomorrow.

ps. Thanks bmitchell: that's the most succinct description of what to do I've seen, there's alot of verbosity in this game

i know what its like when people give you a 5 page novel on what to do that should only take 3 lines! i guess its in my nature. practical!
