My PB on the program.

Couple of hours (2.8) from Tuesday night. Same setup. FSQ106N/QHY9 ZWO Duo band filter and G11/Lodestar. 34x300s.

Lost an hour when the laptop froze. But overall happy camper. Good details on that one.

Full res 1:1 [4654x3522 - 7.08MB]

HD [1920x1453 - 1.65MB]

Enjoy the views.

It was worth downloading the 7 megabyte image to see the absolutely perfect focus and guiding. Exquisite.

Thanks Mike. Still working on the mount DEC coupling. Although I have to say converting the gearboxes from 25:1 to 50:1 did smooth things out a lot and I don't mind the extra torque.

Echoing what others have said, lovely detailed set of images.
Having just revisited this target, I've been studying those details carefully, and you've certainly done them justice!

The program has been honoured.

The Dark Lord *Xenu would be proud of you

*perhaps a little too cryptic, see: South Park episode on another program called Scientology.

Love the B&W Marc. It’s easy to do a goodish looking colour pic. Much harder to produce a striking B&W image like these. Well done
