Looks like fellow imagers can compare different views of Jupiter taken on the same night.
The 24th July was an increasingly hazy night in Canberra, but at least you could see through the cloud and the winds were down. Many nights have not been so kind and I have not imaged much recently.
Got the 4 inch Mak Cass out for a quick image before conditions deteriorated.
I also, could image Jupiter with Io but was not able catch it in transit.
Pretty good capture.
And I think the key is to be out there as much as possible as good seeing can pop up where you don't expect it.
Plus everything you do must help long term.
Well done I think capturing planets require a dedication beyond my skill so I love to see others efforts.

That's quite an impressive effort for an 4" Mak, well done.
It is good to see the images taken with a variety of modest scopes. Hopefully it may help beginner and intermediate amateurs to get an idea of what scopes can do without having to spend $Ks on the latest and greatest.
