Changing COM ports in Windows 7

Hoping someone will offer an idea. I use a Bluetooth EQ module from Shoestring to run my mount via EQMOD
As one I had died, I have a spare now that I can use if it happens again (I like to have backups for nearly everything!!)
To work in EQMOD, it has to be connected via COM6 or COM7, but this new one sets up as COM40. There is a procedure to reallocated the port that consists of opening Device Manager, going to the Ports section, right click on the port you want to change and selecting properties. There should then be a tab called Port Settings that allows you to make the change. Unfortunately this tab doesn't appear on my system so I am at a dead end.

Any ideas??

Found a solution, apparently applying logic and common sense provides an answer!!
