Nikon to Canon Adaptor

Just thought I'd share with you a little gadget I bought of eBay for $<20 (no affiliation, blah, blah, blah).

Link

It lets you put a Nikon lens onto a Canon body. I have Nikon gear, but bought a Canon DSLR for astroimaging as there is more software and more experience modifying these cameras.

Now I can use my Nikkor lenses for widefields. It doesn't work with lenses that don't have an aperture ring (they will be stopped down to their minimum aperture) and autofocus won't work - it's essentially like putting a Canon body onto a T-adaptor.

Took about over 2 weeks to arrive.

I took the same direction a couple of years back David, and bought that little adapter off eBay. I have 14+ Nikkor lenses and only one Canon body - the 40D I use for astro work. Being able to mount the Nikkors on the 40D is a real boon. The ring has done well for me. I also run all of the Nikkor lenses, including the 300mm plus the Nikon TC-300 2x on the QHY-9.
