Globular Cluster NGC 3201 Vela

Globular Cluster NGC 3201 Vela (Caldwell 79)- viewed Feb 11 with Tak 100D

I star-hopped to this by taking a line from the bottom to the top of the False Cross and continuing it again about the same distance, in the same direction.

EP: Delite 15mm (50x). It appeared as a cloud of stars with no condensation towards the centre. Stars were resolved.

Remarks: Impressive, though I would have like more aperture. I preferred its appearance over that of globular NGC 2808.
