Lovely work Troy, excellent colour and saturation. Epic image. I take it some of this image was captured last year with Mars in the field there?

Thanks Paul, Shiraz and Striker.

Most of this image was taken while Saturn and Mars were hanging together. In fact, I gave this area of the sky a nudge several times while they were hanging out, but not enough to highlight the loops they made during their dance due to weather limitations and work.
Damn, I wish I had acreage on the west of the great dividing range! Maybe some day when I retire and set up a fast scope with a fat arse in a dome with a beer fridge and a bar.
