RAW images to JPG

Hi everyone. Last night I took some pics with my camera (Pentax KM) and saved them to my work laptop. I don't have another PC. The work computer has download restrictions and asks for authorisation. So, I am having trouble opening the files to view my pictures. Is there an easy way to change RAW to JPG?

Irfanview. A small free image software.
Google it and it'll do what you want. However the picture may not be beautiful because the jpg will not be 'processed' for colour, brightness etc. Although, you can do some basics in Irfanview to get an idea of the potential of the RAW files.

Scott,
When shooting raw, you can set Pentax cameras to capture in two different raw formats - PEF and DNG. PEF is pentax proprietry, DNG is a generic adobe format able to be read by a wide variety of software. I always shoot DNG and suggest you do the same in future.

There is a program called GIMP that is a free open source clone of photoshop. Your camera should have come with a version of Silky pix which can also do the conversion.
